- Can Google read it?
- We fetch the page the way a crawler does, with no JavaScript. Title, H1, meta description, canonical, noindex, robots.txt, sitemap and how many real words are in the HTML.
- Tag Manager and GA4
- Whether a GTM container or a GA4 measurement ID is in the page, and whether either is installed twice.
- Ad pixels
- Meta Pixel, Google Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft Ads, Hotjar and Clarity, when they load straight from the HTML.
- Consent signals
- A recognisable cookie banner, and whether Consent Mode v2 defaults are set before the tags load.
